Özgül DEMIR (1970)
A Parisian at heart and an Istanbulite at heart, she arrived in France at the age of 10. Drawing and photography have always accompanied and supported her throughout her life. Polyglot and a graduate in International Business Law and Insurance Law (Paris I University - Panthéon Sorbonne), she is continuing her professional career in the insurance sector.
Training in Plastic Arts:
-The “Beaux Arts de la ville de Paris” workshops, rue Sorbier, Paris 20th: she began her artistic training in this workshop with Professor Rémy ARON (Artist Painter, President of the Maison des Artistes). In fact, she attended this workshop for about ten years to deepen her studies in drawing (nude, still life, reproduction of engravings by Rembrandt and Goya), painting (oil painting) and engraving. These courses were accompanied by guided tours of the Louvre with commentary by Professor Rémy Aron, as well as numerous exhibitions in the Paris region.

Artistic activities in Paris, Istanbul and Antalya:
An assiduous member of the Louvre and Orsay museums, she attended numerous seminars and conferences on art.
During her frequent trips to Istanbul, she was invited to numerous exhibitions in the company of Fehmi Bildik and had the opportunity to interact with the community of painters in Istanbul. His many trips to Turkey also allowed him to immerse himself in and learn about the arts of Anatolia.
