Professional and self-taught photographer from Lanester, Benoît Kuhn has been passionate about photography since the 1970s.

After having worked as a freelance for an illustration agency in Paris, then in the communication of municipalities and artistic activities, he held his first exhibition in 1980, at the Ecole des Beaux - Arts of Lorient.

Poetry of the moment

“These are moments lived in South Korea and Japan that left me  special, embodied memories. It is the daily life of humans that touched me with many moving signs.

​

Time extracts from these "ordinary" moments their share of poetry, and offers it to the memory of the passer-by.

There are also noises and perfumes, they accompany these moments in the photographic off-screen.”
