Jason Blak, French artist, born in 1994.

Jason Blak is an emerging French talent whose paintings have been exhibited in solo exhibitions in Paris. Growing up in the Parisian district of Montmartre, Blak immersed himself in an artistic community and enjoyed the freedom of creative expression. Inspired by comic books and artists like Picasso and Dali, Blak developed his own style of abstract portraiture, defined by bold lines and brightly colored geometric shapes.

“The originality of my paintings is based on the portrait.

It is the reproduction of a portrait or a subject or a character but in a cubist form, accentuating certain points of their physique and with a touch representing for certain portraits the psychological, mental state and in certain cases also his lived or his present. And for the subjects and the characters the points are very accentuated too.

The Colors are intense; reinforced; deep; accentuated; visually striking; they attract the eye and attention.

What characterizes and makes my paintings unique is the way I look at the portraits, characters and subjects I paint, and the attention I pay to each of them .” Jason Blak
