Actress Paola Lanzi devotes part of her time to painting.

 

I prefer acrylic paint which is the most flexible way in my eyes to obtain the spontaneity necessary for my work which I carry out with knives, spatulas, brushes and paintbrushes.

The shimmering and dynamic colors of Africa, where I lived, which push you to optimism, to the joy of living, to vitality, have influenced my work which is intended to be turned towards the desire to share these impressions. of positive energies. Abstraction gives me full latitude to express generous shapes and make colors vibrate without any particular theory, inspiration being my only guide. I solicit the richness of the material so that it leads me to unsuspected solutions where gesture and thought thus come together.

For her new series Paola Lanzi has oriented her choice towards the figurative, but her series of monkeys is always with the aim of giving an image of the joy of living.
